We search by trying to look exactly like a Kardashian sister or Tom Cruise. We search by putting others down, so we won’t have to look at ourselves! We search by filling our time with meaningless chores, while never finding time for anyone else.
And sometimes we search because we can’t rid ourselves of a guilt-ridden conscience.
We’re thirsty! We can’t get full! We seem so empty!
Life indeed is empty, when we try to do things on our own…when we look to ourselves totally for meaning! For many, life is just a rat race, if we have no purpose! Life doesn’t have to remain that way!
Here’s the truth for you today – the truth this woman learned from Jesus – Jesus came bearing good news not condemnation.

More than we can handle? Church, God’s plans for you and me are “huge”, and if those plans were reliant on human limitations, then He’d never get anything done! Facing more that we can handle (1) Strengthens Us (2) Honours and Glorifies God.

Our connection with Jesus Christ is spiritual. We are born again into God’s family voluntarily by faith and because of that, we inherit eternal life. Judgment follows one act of trespass in Adam. – Sin and Separation. God sends his Son to redeem us – to restore our relationship. And so, where Judgment follows one act of trespass in Adam, grace follows one act of righteousness in Christ. In Jesus Christ relationship is restored….
