COVID-19 Response Update
We are staying up to date on the latest COVID protocols.
As all of you will know, the Ontario Government and the Windsor Essex County Health Unit continue to issue guidance as it pertains to gatherings in the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic. As such, FBK (First Baptist Church Kingsville) will operating in the following manner:
Sunday Worship Service:
- No RSVP required, seating restrictions have been removed.
- Mak wearing is not required however please feel free to do so.
- All entryways opened for use.
- Nursery and Toddler care have not reopened at this time.
Televised Services
If you are unable to attend our Sunday service, there are still many ways that we can worship “together”! You can join us for our live-stream Sunday mornings at 11am and/or you will be able to view it on our website soon after.
We are also excited to announce that you can watch the Sunday service broadcast from CFTV, channel 30.2 over air or Cogeco Cable 600. It is re-run several times during the week at 7am.

COMMUNITY DINNER:
- Please follow our Announcements Page for updates on when the next Community Dinner event will be held.
JUNIOR YOUTH:
- This program is for Grades 6-8.
- We are currently meeting every Thursday evening as a part of the Mid-week program.
SENIOR HIGH YOUTH:
- This program is for high school age youth and currently being held every Thursday evening as a part of the Mid-week program.

The phrase “fear and trembling” speaks to the reverence and respect we should have for God’s commands. It does not imply that we should panic, but rather it calls us to approach our salvation with humble hearts and devoted minds. As Jesus stated, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all those who practice it have a good understanding” (Proverbs 9:10).

All too often we decide to take on other people’s character traits, believing we must fit into a certain mold to be accepted. Yet, try as hard as we might, we were uniquely designed for greatness because truthfully, like the makeup of the snowfall we see, it is impossible for two (or more) snowflakes to be completely alike. So, it begs the questions, why do we still place such high expectations on ourselves by emulating others instead of embracing our individual strengths?
