All of us have encountered, within our busy lives, certain people who are our superiors (bosses, teachers, coaches, etc.), who ask a little more from us than they really should … beyond simple service into what we might call border-line worship. We certainly do live within an empire of sorts, just like the three lads in our story this Sunday … but we know deep within us the Being who really deserves our worship.
