This submission to Christ’s leadership through His Holy Spirit is essential to a healthy relationship with God…whether you are a husband or wife…it’s the starting place.
Today is Solidarity Sunday, and our service is largely provided by Canadian Baptist Ministries. This Solidarity Sunday service, “My Peace, I Give to You” calls us to stand alongside local churches who are on the front lines acting as the hands and feet of Jesus amidst so much conflict. It is also a time for us to reaffirm and proclaim our shared commitment to expressing the gospel through word and deed.
What Peter and so many others in the Scriptures proclaim to us is this:

We are like the moon … the night is dark. But every night the moon reflects the sun that is no longer visible. In darkness, when you can’t see the sun, you can know it is there by how it reflects off of the moon. When you chose to live following God’s example, you are being the light that is most often bringing wisdom in to the darkness around us.
