In this season of Advent, we’re reminded that true joy transcends mere happiness, existing alongside life’s trials. As we follow the Star of Bethlehem, like the shepherds and wise men before us, we discover that joy isn’t the absence of pain but the presence of Christ. Through community, gratitude, and worship, we can experience the profound joy that comes from knowing Emmanuel – God with us. This third Sunday of Advent invites us to embrace divine joy, connecting with others in fellowship while celebrating the greatest gift ever given: our Savior’s birth and the promise of eternal life.
