One of my favorite scriptures in Abraham’s story is when God promises to bless him to be a blessing. As we move into this second year of Ministry together, we will be confronted with the truth that our blessings, like Abraham’s, are not just for us but are to be used to bless others.
God’s word tells us repeatedly that a rich and beautiful life will never be measured by what we have accumulated, but by what we have sown and invested into the lives of people. Truly, there is no greater place to invest our lives than into relationships with a God-centered purpose attached to them.
The question I think for so many, as they ponder this transition to the new year is: “Where shall we find a constant that could sustain the ebb and flow of events that seem to be cascading over us, day after day, removing any sense of control that we seem to think we have…?”
May you feel His presence in love this Christmas. From our family to each and every one of yours, MERRY CHRISTMAS!
