Although the story of Tamar and Judah is a strangely unique one it reminds us of how God breaks through our sin by the sending of His Son.

God’s word tells us repeatedly that a rich and beautiful life will never be measured by what we have accumulated, but by what we have sown and invested into the lives of people. Truly, there is no greater place to invest our lives than into relationships with a God-centered purpose attached to them.

Do you perhaps find yourself asking questions like: Is anyone noticing me? Will anyone reach out to me? Do people really care? In the middle of all these questions we can sometimes take our eyes away from the fact that our ongoing identity as Jesus followers is to participate in the body, and build up others. How do we Neighbour? Recognize and repent of our prejudices; Reach out to serve those in our Neighbourhoods and find the lonely people around you that need love.
That’s how we love one another. That’s How To Neighbour!

Biblical Neighbouring doesn’t just happen by itself. You have to work hard at it. Neighbouring is labor intensive. Neighbouring is not just giving…(it is more blessed to give than receive…). Neighbouring is sweat and toil and long hours of effort.
